Who We Are?

The African continent is in dire need of new ideas and new approaches to counter the challenges it is facing today, be it in national intelligence, the economy including agriculture and food preservation, the educational and health sector, amongst other challenges.  Innovation brings new knowledge that leads to development of improved processes and products. Engineering skills and science knowledge are key primary support of business innovation. As the rest of the world innovates on a platform of Nanotechnology, biotechnology and electronic research, these African countries are still lagging behind in these new fields of science, vital to national security and economic clout.

Havalah International therefore works in African countries to pilot technology and digital integrated approaches for sustainable development in: inclusive economic growth for poverty eradication, food security and nutrition and education and youth development with sustainability, gender equality and public-private partnerships strongly embedded in all its programming.

With a liaison office for the coordination of activities and provision of technical support located and run from the United States, Havalah works and implement project activities in Africa particularly in Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone with plans to expand to Guinea, Mali and Ivory Coast in the next few years. Havalah is setup and accredited in these various countries to work for the improvement of their readiness for technology and build their capacity to respond to the global challenges of the immediate future.

Havalah's vision is to innovate communities for sustainable impacts and to achieve this, she pushes technology solutions that addresses local challenges by providing linkages between communities and digital solutions while addressing technology gaps and challenges of digital poverty. The work of Havalah as providers of needed leverage that are critical to the achievement of community development is directly in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals set for 2030.
